Being an artist means leaving bits and pieces of yourself within every story you share, subtly tucking them between every brand, performance, romance, website, dinner party, thank you note, melody, conversation, and poem.

And in return, we as artists are then made up of bits and pieces too, we become a collection of everything we love… but also of every story we’ve ever told. I welcome you to what I myself have gathered along the way.

What’s in a name

Behind aurora Designed

Once upon a time abroad…

Or more specifically,
A quiet side road
In Reykjavik, Iceland,
A group of students lied down to wait.

In the dark of night, we stared at the sky
and all its mystery, hoping to fall witness to the famous
Northern Lights and their ethereal spell.
To catch the stuff of living legends, bright lights,
and dancing colors otherwise known as the Aurora Borealis.

First came a flash of green.
Then a flash of blue.

Like fabric, they wrapped around each other
before disappearing back into the darkness.
For a few moments, the total absence of light.
Then all at once,
Every color blazed above us.

There we lied in wonder.
The kind that overwhelms,
The kind that inspires and propels.
More than awe-struck,
We were spellbound.

Profoundly moved by the collision
of particles and atmosphere,
Of science and art visible in the Northern Lights —
Aurora Designed was created in homage
to the dazzling phenomenon
with a vision just as bright:

What is art if not love
And life observed. . .

Consider the color that roses our cheeks and paints our tables with rings of Merlot. Notice the way the light hits at noon and look for the shadows that prove we exist.

Recall your daily rituals and the shape of them too. Trace the textures that pattern your days and savor the seconds that move you the most.

This is a life lived with intention and looked at through the lens of love. From this perspective, everything looks a little rosier, feels a little more profound, and reads a little more romantic. It’s easy to see from here: the infinite expressions of beauty existing humbly around us, in the richest colors of our days and the cherished rituals of our lives.

I believe it is only when we fall in love with life and its poetic possibilities that our art becomes truly inspired. Thus, Aurora Designed was established to reimagine poetic notions of life and love into visual brand stories bound by strategy.

Through creative collaborations with inspired brands and artists, we hope to make the world fall in love with life again. To empower our collaborators through thoughtful design and bespoke strategy. To paint brilliant brand masterpieces, tuck stories into digital web pages, craft meaningful client experiences, and inspire heartfelt connections across industries and individuals.

A final ode to what we
Embroider into the tales we tell

Dance, by definition: an expressive art form that uses sequences of movements, space, time, and energy, either improvised or purposefully selected.

Much like design, it is a non-verbal language that can be used to communicate emotions, tell stories, connect with audiences, and represent themes, often with aesthetic or symbolic value.

Our stories are woven with the hope to express, connect, and inspire. They are rooted in underlying messages and lyrical visuals. Like Odette and Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake; typography, composition, color, and symbolism all perform together to paint a masterpiece set (even in just our minds) to Tchaikovsky’s “Waltz” (Op. 20, Act I, No. 2).
